The Management Accounting Team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated finance professional to join the team. The Finance Officer is a dynamic role with a diverse range of responsibilities which include the following key deliverables:
Contribute to the monthly financial reporting process including:
uploading payroll and HR data
monthly revenue and expenditure forecasting
analysis of divisional information and central overheads including investigating significant variances between budgeted, forecast and actual expenditure and ASL and identifying any potential risks to the budget
completion of monthly financial reports to the CFO.
Contribute to the department’s internal budget process including:
liaising with the External Budgets team on available funding and provide information as required for external reporting
supporting business managers in the development of internal budgets
review and assess divisional budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Analyse and provide advice on financial and non-financial data to stakeholders including the Branch Head and CFO.
Coordinate and reconcile Specific Purpose Payments to the States and Territories and provide advice to divisions on payment processes.
Coordinate monthly cash forecasting.
